The polarizing media personality has officially announced his candidacy for Prime Minister in the upcoming UK General Election, insisting he’s “100% serious” about his bid. 😳
“Stranger things have happened,” said Tate in a post on X last night, where he referred to himself as “the most Googled man in the world.” He cited Cypriot YouTuber-turned-MEP @fidias0 as proof of the shifting times, describing the current political climate as a “great awakening” and a period of growing distrust in politicians. But Tate didn’t stop there. 👀
“Boats will be leaving, none will be arriving,” he declared, adding that “the G in Top G stands for Government.” 🧐
Tate also addressed the case of Shamima Begum, one of three schoolgirls from East London who traveled to Syria in 2015 to join ISIS. After marrying an IS fighter and losing three children, Begum was stripped of her UK citizenship in 2019 on national security grounds and remains in a guarded Syrian camp. In his announcement, Tate stated, “Once I’m Prime Minister, Shamima Begum remains exiled from the United Kingdom. Anyone attempting to return her here will be deported and permanently banned. NO TRAITORS.” 🗣

The controversial influencer, who often claims to have escaped “The Matrix” targeting “free thinkers” like himself, had a tumultuous 2023 and 2024. Last August, he and his brother Tristan were placed under house arrest in Romania amid allegations of sex trafficking and abuse, including claims of sexual exploitation of minors. Both brothers deny the charges and have consistently maintained their innocence.
