This is the alleged perpetrator of Monday’s murder of his peer near the “Fan Noli” school in Tirana, Albania.
Maeio Prelleshaj posted this photo on his Snapchat profile following the killing of the victim, known for being kind-hearted.
The 14-year-old poses with his fist raised, seemingly to demonstrate strength, while the injury on his hand is clearly visible in the photo.
Police officers have yet to locate the knife used in the crime.
Today, the young suspect is expected to be questioned to provide his account of the altercation.
Authorities have announced that he has been charged with “Intentional Homicide Committed Against a Minor” and “Illegal Production, Possession, Purchase, or Sale of Cold Weapons.”
Currently, the minor is in the hospital, out of danger, due to the injury he sustained.
