A 14-year-old Florida boy has admitted to sexually assaulting and beating a 91-year-old woman during a burglary at her home in June.
Jesse Stone pleaded guilty to charges of sexual assault and burglary as part of a plea deal finalized on November 7, according to court documents obtained by WCJB.
The attack took place around midnight on June 9 at the woman’s home in Reddick, Florida. Authorities confirmed Stone’s involvement through DNA evidence collected at the scene, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
Additionally, police questioned Stone after neighbors recorded a video showing an individual wearing a dark t-shirt and shorts jogging near the area on the night of the assault, as reported by the Ocala Star-Banner.
