A couple who operated a YouTube channel was discovered dead in their home in Kerala's Parassala town on Sunday, with police suspecting suicide.
The incident came to light after neighbors, noticing the couple's unusual absence, informed the authorities.
According to Parassala police, 45-year-old Selvaraj was found hanging, while his wife Priya, aged 40, was found lying on the bed. The initial investigation suggests their deaths may have occurred approximately two days prior.
The couple, identified as Selvaraj and Priya, ran a YouTube channel named
"Sellu Family," amassing nearly 18,000 subscribers and uploading over 1,400 videos. Their last post—a 55-second photo compilation-was shared on Friday night. Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the case.
