Researchers at University College London have achieved a groundbreaking advancement in 6G technology, reaching data transmission speeds of 938 Gbps—more than 9,000 times faster than today’s 5G networks.
Utilizing a broader frequency spectrum, ranging from 5 GHz to 150 GHz, and integrating radio waves with light, they were able to maximize transmission efficiency.
With these remarkable speeds, a 50GB Blu-ray quality movie could be downloaded in just one second, representing a major leap toward the next generation of ultra-fast communication networks.
